Get Online Week 2013

UK Online Centres are once again preparing for their Get Online Week from 14-20 October. Let us help you to show others in your community that going digital could save them time, hassle and money. You can register today to receive the tools you need to help plus some quick online training for yourselves - go here to register and for more information.

e-skills UK has today launched GO ON you can do IT – a free website designed to give job seekers the digital skills they need both to search and apply for vacancies online and use technology once they enter the workplace

If you're looking to change your career, learn new skills or meet new people, taking an adult learning course is a step in the right direction. And this new website brings together for the first time the details of courses offered by a range of providers. There is a course for everybody, and many of them are free. There are classes in everything from IT, digital photography and languages to CV writing and interview skills. So get online and give learning a go.

 

Community Learning in Partnership (CLiP)

CLiP, formerly known as CG Partnership, is a training organisation specialising in skills for the voluntary sector and the community. They have training facilities in Market Rasen, Mablethorpe and Gainsborough.  They now work with over 2,000 learners and have over 40 staff and tutors.

 

Throughout the county of Lincolnshire we are aiming to help those who Skills & Traininghave never been online or don’t currently use the Internet very often. If you are viewing this the chances are that you are an experienced web user or have just been shown how to get here. Take the opportunity to encourage someone you know who doesn’t use the Internet to try it. See our Digital Champions page to see how.

The BBC has a wide range of tools and information that can help you get the best out of your Internet and Computing experiences. This covers advice and help on Broadband, how to protect your password sand how to watch TV online.

Learn My Way

Learn My Way gives new internet users and tutors a range of easy courses and useful resources. For an online course that takes you through various levels of training. If you register please put in the Centre Code 3455004, this will help us track how many people are using this.
