David Stephens, who has run Cadomel in rural Lincolnshire since 1989, explained how he first came across the Onlincolnshire initiative when he originally benefited from the £200 subsidy to connect to broadband for the first time.
Having access to broadband compared to the dial-up was very helpful to the day to day running of my business," said David. "I was delighted to go on to receive ICT advice from consultant Tim Weaver. Being able to tap into his ICT knowledge and expertise was invaluable."

David received business support from Onlincolnshire, which made a huge difference to his small one-man business. He could upgrade hardware, with a new computer for the office and a laptop for remote access to the office systems. It also helped towards new office software and software for the website which allowed David to take Cadomel''s online store to the next level, add subscription services and support contracts. The ICT Advice formed a business plan for future improvements which David is still implementing and is crucial to the business.
So would David recommend Onlincolnshire to other small businesses in Lincolnshire? "Definitely. Onlincolnshire are enablers."
