Strange, BT have been working to move EO lines on the Bishop Norton exchange to a new cabinet (3) and I have spoken to the BT engineer working on it and he said it was to provide fibre broadband on those lines.
Also previous corespodance with yourself's informed me that our EO line would get fttc by BT building a new cabinet ?

BT has 2 x cabinets showing in their project plan, the first is Cabinet 1 and the second is cabinet R1. The 'R' normally refers to a rearrangement of lines and when completed, they will designate a new 'P' number. As we haven't had any new designation for R1 as yet, we wouldn't know it was intended to be P3 (cabinet 3), hence the confusion.

Thanks for info, cabinet 3 is showing on the bt dsl search where before it was just the exchange.
Back to the original question do you have a eta for R1 offering fttc?

Hi Darren,
That particular cabinet falls within Phase 7 and is therefore due for completion by 31st December. We will attempt to complete sooner than that, but current indications point to nearer that date.
we will get a clearer view on ETA as move into late October.

Hi Matt,
