My local school installed their own private broadband, I am told, two years ago at the cost of £100,000. Last October BT made available to them an extra fibre 16mbps connection as part of the fibre upgrade. I can't for a moment imagine them using it as their own connection is a lot faster.
As the school is next door to me, it really rubs it in when I can't get fibre at all.
Surely a few more meters of cable is possible if they can already get 16Mbps??
