List of Dates for Cabinets

#1
It would be useful to have a list of targets dates for completion of cabinets. I notice there are announcements for when there is a delay but I cannot see specific dates for when they should be active in the first place (only a six month window). For a community (Denton) who has totally unacceptable broadband at the moment (not sure it can be called broadband ;) it would be nice to be able to plan for when we enter the modern age!

Great programme can't come soon enough!

Good Morning Jonathan,
Thanks for taking time to write to us. I have just looked at Denton and note that it is fed from Cabinet No. 3 off Knipton Exchange and this cabinet is due for completion by the 30th of June. We expect it to go 'Live' around that date and we will update our website (normally on a Friday afternoon) as soon as this happens. I take your point about the 6 month window, but every Phase of the project has over 100 cabinets scattered across various parts of the county and all with a number of phases of work, some of work rely upon Highways and the Power companies. We feel that specifying a date may well raise expectations falsely, where we subsequently fail to hit that date due to unforeseen problems such as duct blockages. Typically, the vast majority of cabinets in a Phase tend to come in at either the end of the three or six month slots in each phase. Regards Steve
