Customers Praise Best Broadband Providers
Plusnet and Eclipse Internet topped the latest round of home broadband reviews from consumer magazine Which?, while Orange and AOL are at the bottom of the list.
Plusnet topped the Which? Consumer Satisfaction Survey, with an overall satisfaction score of 84 percent, and received four-star recommendations for value, reliability customer service and tech support. Eclipse Internet also received the ‘Recommended’ status for the third year running.
The Plusnet Value home broadband from only £6.49 pet month has been given a five star recommendation for “value for money” and a four star recommendation for connection speed, connection reliability, customer service and technical support.
“This is a landmark achievement for Plusnet,” said the Shefflied-based company’s CEO Jamie Ford. “What is great about this award is that it is an independent survey with the findings fully dependent on the feedback of actual customers,” he added.
The Which? survey used feedback from 12,000 members, and rated 17 home broadband suppliers, each of which needs an average of 70 percent or higher to get the ‘Recommended’ status.
Six Internet Service Providers (ISPs) received accolades in total, while two providers, Orange and AOL, were at the bottom of the rankings.
