Come and see how Lincolnshire’s tech hubs can help

Businesses in Lincoln, Boston and East Lindsey can access free workshops on cutting-edge technology as well as masterclasses on using online services like social media and websites thanks to Onlincolnshire’s technology hubs across the county.

The business support is being offered to help those working in Lincoln, Boston and East Lindsey make use of the new Lincolnshire Technology Hubs run by the project.

These hubs offer eligible firms from those areas the opportunity to borrow and experiment with a range of digital equipment, with just a small charge to cover insurance and materials.

This equipment varies from hub to hub, ranging from audio visual equipment to 3D printers, scanners and laser cutters.

A new contract was awarded to the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and CDI Alliance to help businesses make the most of the free facilities now on offer at the hubs in Mablethorpe, Louth and Boston.

Another hub in Lincoln is due to open next month, while a fifth will be created in Horncastle.

The activity is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Companies outside of Lincoln, Boston and East Lindsey can also get business support from Onlincolnshire.
