How is your community doing?
On 25 January it was announced that Linconshire's Local Broadband Plan was approved by government. Since then there has been an incredible increase of registrations for faster broadband. I've listed the villages and towns with their registration numbers, so see how your area is doing!
Even if you and your village have registered there is still a need to increase the number of registrations. Let your neighbours know about Onlincolnshire and encourage them to register. Also, our ‘How we can help’ page has loads of information for communities including our self help guides. These pages give a step by step guide on how you can get better broadband in your community.
Onlincolnshire website was set up earlier this year to capture the demand of residents, businesses and communities in Lincolnshire. It is clear that broadband is now a key part of the nation’s infrastructure and we urgenly need better broadband to develop the local economy.
We need as many people as possible to register so we are able to build an accurate picture of where the main issues are, and to prove to commercial suppliers there is sufficient demand for next generation broadband in Lincolnshire.
We will be providing a range of reports about the current position in the county and they will shortly become available on the website. Please get in touch if you would like to see any further information or the data presented in a different way.
