Cabinet progress update
Ancaster 2 – Traffic Management is booked in for 10 nights from the 11th January to deal with the blockages on the spine ducting coming out of Sleaford exchange.
Ancaster 3 – Traffic Management is booked in for 10 nights from the 11th January to deal with the blockages on the spine ducting coming out of Sleaford exchange.
Ancaster 4 - Traffic Management is booked in for 10 nights from the 11th January to deal with the blockages on the spine ducting coming out of Sleaford exchange.
Billinghay 1 – Just waiting for the fibres to be joined at the cabinet – this work has been designated to engineers
Billinghay 6 – This cabinet is situated on private land and BT are scheduling a meeting with the property developer to agree a position for the new cabinet. This isn’t expected to be ready until mid February.
Butterwick 3 –The existing copper infrastructure needs some reorganising inside the cabinet. They are hoping to start work on this on the 12th January
Cranwell 4 – Traffic management issues are still ongoing.
Culverthorpe 1 & 2 – Blockages are still being progressed through
Friskney cabs x 4 – Blockages coming out of Skegness are being dealt with.
Grantham 81 – This is still on track for cabinet positioning to take place in January
Horncastle 3 – Cabinet needs to be stood in position and power needs to be provided which is set to take place on January 15th, subject to unforeseen delays.
Heckington 1 –21M overlay completed, will be cabled & jointed on the 12th January
Normanby by Spital EO Lines - Delays in place due to collaped duct - this needs to be replaced by engineers before the works are completed.
Scampton 2 – This cabinet is 'ready for service'– in approximately two weeks it will be ‘customer ready for service’ and products can be brought from it.
South Rauceby 1 –BT are hoping for this cabinet to be 'ready for service' by the end of January
South Rauceby 2 – Road is now confirmed as adopted and work is ongoing. This cabinet is expected to be ready in January, although there have been some further delays
Spalford 1 – New ducting is required –booked in with the contractors this Saturday, jointing Monday 12th Jan.
Withern Cabs x 2 – Estimated completion date of 7th February 2015.
